Adventure Uttaranchal Tour

Day 1: Delhi-Haridwar-Uttarakashi
Arrival at Haridwar from Delhi. You will be received by our representatives at the railway station at Haridwar.
Transfer to Uttarakashi from Haridwar by surface. It is a 7hrs drive through the panoramic mountains of Uttarakhand providing scenic views of high mountain peaks of Garhwal.
Overnight at hotel in Uttarakashi.

Day 2: Uttarakashi-Gangotri
After breakfast proceed to Gangotri. It takes 5hrs to cover the distance 100kms and reach Gangorti located at 3048 meters above sea level in Uttarakhand. Following the torrential river up stream, the road winds up the valley past the hot sulphur springs at Gangnani, to climb steeply up a series of hairpin bends to the village of Sukki.
Arrival at Gangotri. Spend the afternoon exploring Gangotri. Thousands of pilgrims come here to take holy dip at the sacred Ganga to wash away their sins.
Overnight at a tourist bungalow.

Day 3: Gangotri-Chirbasa-Bhojbasa
Now starts the real adventure tour.
Trek 14kms of easy walk route. You will cross the dense deodar forest leading to an unforested valley. Rest here a bit and then walk ahead. The trek will lead to a small isolated forest of pine at Chirbases.
Spend the overnight in tent at a height of 3800meters.

Day 4: Bhojbasa-Gaumukh-Bhojbasa
This day’s adventure starts with trek to Gaumukh(3900meters), source of the holy river Ganga. During the summer season, Gaumukh is flooded with pilgrims and saddhus praying at its banks. Gaumukh mesmerizes the tourists with the panoramic views of Shivaling and Bhagirati massifs.
Return to Bhojbasa in the evening and spend overnight at tent.

Day 5:Bhojbasa- Gangotri-Uttarakashi
Get up early in the morning and trek back to Gangotri.
Drive to Uttarakshi from Gangotri.
Overnight at hotel in Uttarakashi.

Day 6: Uttarakashi- Rishikesh
Early morning drive to Rishikesh. It’s a 155km drive and takes around 5hrs.
Check-in to a hotel. Spend the rest of the day at leisure or do local sightseeing. You can enjoy river-rafting if time permits.

Day 7: Rishikesh-Haridwar-Delhi
Spend the morning at leisure.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Haridwar railway station to catch a train to Delhi.
